Today I read an article by Dogo News about Harbin's 30th Ice and Snow festival. Here is my summary about the article:
"Harbin's 30th Ice and Snow Festival is Spectacular!" by DOGO News shows and tells all about the ice and snow sculptures in Northeast China. This event goes from January 5th - March IF it is cold enough.
I think that if I could go to the ice and snow festival I would DEFINITELY go!
Would you?
My class and I were asked to answer this question, Why do people visit the Harbin Ice Festival? My response was,
People visit the Harbin Ice Festival because of the ice and snow sculptures they make for people to see. They might go to do the fun activities there like diving or snowboarding. In the fifth paragraph it states, “For visitors looking for a little more excitement or something to do during the day, there is the opportunity to head down to the icy waters of Songhua River for a quick dip, practice their 'triple lutz' on the ice skating rink and even show off their snowboarding slalom skills on the snow covered hills. And if they just want to relax and let others do all the hard work, North Korea's Pyongyang National Acrobatic Troupe is happy to oblige, with their live action and ice fashion show.”
